Recipe for poached pear with lemon verbena
- In a saucepan, heat 1L of water, add the lemon verbena leaves and sugar. Mix and bring to a boil.
- Peel the pears with a peeler and place them in the syrup and cook them over low heat for 10 min.
- Turn them once or twice during cooking so that they absorb the scent of verbena. Serve hot in small verrines with a little broth!
